In this role, you would be joining the Data and Process Management department, where you would benefit from a friendly and diverse working environment.

Your new role

  • You will be responsible for undertaking a comprehensive, in-depth review of the Bank's Information/cyber security risk analysis.
  • You will perform regular reviews of security controls implemented within the UK to mitigate the identified risks and make recommendations to strengthen controls, in accordance with the Bank's ERMF risk and control taxonomies and risk appetite.
  • You will contribute to 2LOD oversight to ensure that key projects and programmes effectively identify and manage information security risks.
  • You will respond to requests for advice from business units, support departments and/or branch offices and proactively provide the appropriate level of support to resolve the matter being referred.
  • You will log, review and monitor key security metrics and indicators to measure the performance of information security controls and undertake any necessary follow up actions.
  • You will participate in the planning, preparation and delivery of information security, cyber security and IT risk management related training.
  • You will ensure accurate and timely reporting of outputs and regulatory changes related to information security, cyber security and IT risk management.
  • You will perform information security due diligence and conduct ongoing information security monitoring of outsourced/third party activities.
  • You will take active involvement in drafting, reviewing and implementing relevant policies and procedures in order to meet the legal, regulatory and Head Office requirements.
  • You will liaise with IT Centre (Europe) on data and information/cyber security issues.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and new initiatives related to information and cyber security.
  • Carry out any ad hoc tasks assigned by Head of Data and Process Management Office.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (additional proficiency in Mandarin is a plus).
  • A self-initiated, motivated person, and a proactive team player.
  • Strong understanding of information security principles and best practice (e.g. ISO27001).
  • Analytical skills to analyse information security requirements and relate them to appropriate security controls.
  • Experience in performing risk assessment.
  • Knowledge of GDPR is desirable.
