Your new role
Reporting into the IT Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical support across several schools, working closely with both staff and pupils, as well as Senior Leadership. You will be providing 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line support to end users, ensuring that all service requests are dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner. This will include the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of both hardware and software across th organisation whilst also getting involved in any IT/Tech projects. These projects could include the upgrading or implementation of new hardware or software, or potentially bespoke systems to the education sector and you will also get involved in the procurement of these. As part of this role, you will work support the schools network and this could also include network troubleshooting or upgrading and projects relating to cyber security. This is an incredibly varied role which will give you exposure to various areas of IT and allow you to further develop your technical ability.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess previous IT Technician experience having dealt with 1st and 2nd line queries as a minimum, as well as having a knowledge of networking. Experience in the Education sector would be beneficial, with excellent communication skills and the desire to further develop being essential.

In return, you will be paid a highly competitive salary of between £25,000 and £31,000 dependent on experience, with regular salary reviews and increases.
