Your new company is a leading Lloyds Insurance Broker based in Hertfordshire (offering remote working) with a very established reputation of providing insurance broking, risk management and employee benefit services across the UK and the International Insurance market. With significant experience in managing corporate risks across Tech, Life Science, Telecoms, Childcare, Charities, Social Care and Film and TV classes of business, our client has seen extensive growth across their Claims portfolio, and they are now seeking a Senior Claims Handler/Claims Manager with significant Non-marine Claims experience to join their team.
(Please note: This role offers remote working with the office based in Hertfordshire. You may be asked to come into the office a couple of times a month).
Your new role
In your new role you will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day management of the claims department as well as general administration of claims, reporting into the Head of Claims. Any successful applicant will need experience in dealing with complex commercial claims with experience in charities, care and technology being preferred. First-hand experience in dealing with major/complex losses, preferably BI, liability, cyber, D&O/EPL and PI/med mal.
Any successful candidate will be the day-to-day referral point for the rest of the team, responsible for department workflow and people management, as well as monthly reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will need a proven ability of handling complex Lloyds London market Claims from cradle to grave. You will need extensive experience in handling commercial claims and solving complex challenges and you will need to be a hard-working, team player with a self-starter initiative who is willing to use your own experience to mentor and support more junior members of the Claims team.
