The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Product Security Engineer to join our Minuteman Program team in Layton, Utah. The position will support the performance of cybersecurity engineering for the lab programs and networks. Position Responsibilities: Assess organization–wide security and privacy risk and regularly update assessment results Develop and implement an org–wide strategy for continuously monitoring control effectiveness Support system analysis for cyber threats Support system test for cyber threats, cyber test activities, and the cybersecurity of large–scale events Support cyber risk assessments and the development of risk mitigation plans Support the engineering analysis of patches and various system updates and upgrades to determine system consequence of these changes Attend, collect data from, out brief and facilitate collaboration and project management from various program boards Work RMF and CSF compliance plans including CCI consideration, and creation of necessary compliance documentation Create, update or otherwise assist with program cyber guidance, performance, control, engineering, etc. documents Support cyber threat intelligence activities Support the development and maintenance of cyber scanning, patching, remediation, tools and applications Work and support TEMPEST, DFARS, COMSEC, CNSSI, and other compliance drivers as needed Support and facilitate various ATO packages including processing IAVMs and CTOs for the same Perform and support CVA/CVT activities Perform and/or support the development of tools for cyber forensics Support other related tasks as necessary Oversee the development, implementation, and sustainment of product security and resiliency throughout the requirements, design, build, test, production, operations, and support lifecycle Oversee the development and enhancement of system requirements and architectures for product security to meet all applicable certification and customer requirements Ensure security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used for product: design, development, build, test, storage, delivery, operations, and support Oversee the definition and identification of product security requirements for suppliers of components and subsystems for integration into the most complex Boeing products and services Consult with enterprise senior leadership on complex product security technical recommendations, solutions, risks, and opportunities as applied to the security domain with consideration of impact or leverage across other critical engineering disciplines Oversee coordination with governments, customers, suppliers, and industry at the most senior levels to identify risks and improve industry and regulatory security standards and requirements for programs and interfacing systems Define complex research and development activities resulting in innovative solutions Oversee the advisement of customers on maintaining product security and certification, including security consequences of modifying products and services Travel 20% of the time or more as needed This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires an active and final U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre–Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience): (see required education and experience for this level below) Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. Current DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level III or higher (such as CISSP, CASP, CE, CISA, GCED, or GCIH) 3 or more years' experience with industry standard cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, OWASP, DFARS) Willing to travel 20% of the time or more as needed Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Active and Final U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance Experience with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA)/RMF and National institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800–53 requirements Experience leading system and component level cyber test and evaluation, including threat and security assessments, and table top exercises Experienced self–starter with strong written and oral communication skills, and a focus on translating technically complex issues into simple, easy to understand concepts Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range for senior level: $136,850 – $185,150.
