BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is home to 4,500 digital, cyber and intelligence experts. We work collaboratively across 10 countries to collect, connect and understand complex data, so that governments, nation states, armed forces and commercial businesses can unlock digital advantage in the most demanding environments.

Support Engineers are involved in all aspects required to support business applications and/or infrastructure services. This includes performing ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem and Change Management as well as conducting IT Operations in line with agreed Service Levels.

Support Engineers are responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance and availability of services to consumers of the service thereby enabling the value of the service to be realized.

Basic skills:

Good communication skills; fluent English is essential

Knowledge of ITIL fundamentals

Knowledge of DevOps concept

...or high potential, motivation and willingness to learn and grow professionally in Service Delivery Management area

Nice-to-have skills:

Understanding and managing of Linux and Windows operating systems

Knowledge of Atlassian tools: Jira, Confluence

Knowledge of code repositories: Perforce, Bitbucket

Main duties:

Managing incoming workload, ensuring progress and timely delivery of tasks requested by external parties

Communication with stakeholders

Ensuring compliance with internal processes

Process improvements
