The Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) focus is to provide engineering, technical and programmatic support to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors (PEO IWS 2.0) Directorate. Efforts include overarching program management, test and evaluation, systems engineering, operations analysis, systems integration, international, cyber security, IT network and programmatic support for over 30 PEO IWS 2.0 advanced radar, phased array radar, electronic warfare, electro–optic, advanced off–board electronic warfare/decoy and directed energy programs. # SPA has an immediate need for a Program Protection & System Security Engineer for employment in our downtown Washington, DC office that is located at 20 M Street, SE. Responsibilities For this critical work, we are looking for a candidate that will proactively assist the Shipboard Panoramic Electro–Optic Infrared (SPEIR) program within the Navy's PEO IWS 2.0 Above Water Sensors Directorate with the design, development, evaluation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments. You will be responsible for the System Security Engineering design and review process for developmental acquisition programs across the SPEIR program to ensure cybersecurity, Anti–Tamper, and Supply Chain security requirements are implemented and verified throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will also provide input on cybersecurity and system security engineering practices that are included in system design. Addiitonally, you will be expected to m anage various components of continuously advancing DoD cybersecurity standards, including cybersecurity in a modeling environment, and the Cyber Ready Initiative compliant effort. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range: $85,000 – $105,000. Qualifications Required Qualifications: BA or BS degree At least 1 year of experience providing information assurance, engineering, or operational support to the DoD, including supporting information operations, cyber operations, system administration, and systems security Knowledge evaluating the cyber compliance of a system against current Risk Managed Framework (RMF) and DoD Cybersecurity policies Demonstrated ability to multi–task, provide high quality services and products, while meeting strict deadlines and time constraints Must hold and maintain an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance Desired Qualifications: Experience working in an acquisition program office environment with documentation, protocols, formats, and deadlines
