Why this job matters:

Winning in New Verticals is a strategic Consumer priority with a target of £5bn revenue by 2030. This will be achieved by establishing EE in new markets like Insurance, Security (Cyber & Home) and Gaming & Consumer Electronics.
We plan to enter these markets which will deliver by FY28, revenue budget of £0.9bn and margin of £0.2bn and then further growth opportunities to be explored, sized and driven to the ambition targets out to FY30
This role has end to end accountability for Consumer Electronics in commercial, from executing the distribution strategy across all direct & indirect channels through to owning the commercial performance and commercial trading levers to ensure the MTP ambition is realised

What you'll be doing:
• Monitoring our pricing in market across key products within categories and making recommendations on our approach
• Owning the execution of promotional activity and ensuring these land brilliantly in all channels
• Support executing the New Markets distribution strategy
• Support managing the commercial performance (planning and trading) for all New Markets products and services ensuring MTP/budget achieved, including volume / value / market share /channel targets etc
• Support the governance and the trading cycle to ensure delivery of commercial objectives
• Support implementing in quarter commercial levers (promos, etc) to drive and optimise quarterly trading performance

Skills and experience you'll have under your belt:

Must have:
• Entrepreneurial approach to driving growth
• Experience of implementing / driving change to improve commercial performance
• Experience of working cross business with multiple stakeholders
• Experience of pulling content and confidence in presenting to influence key stakeholders

Nice to have:
• Knowledge of New Markets products and services- market context/trading/distribution approaches /etc
• Knowledge of our systems and platforms
• Understanding of financial/commercial performance mechanics and the levers to drive revenue, EBITDA and FCF. Able to biz case commercial interventions
• Experience of working cross business to drive change & optimize commercial performance.
• Experience of driving and optimising commercial performance
