We are advertising for a R&C Manager to contribute to the development, embedding and facilitation of an appropriate and robust risk management and assurance framework across LPF. The role will also ensure appropriate oversight activities are undertaken to provide assurance on LPF's compliance with regulatory, client and internal requirements. The candidate will work closely with other members of the R&C team and will collaborate with colleagues across the business.

The Role

The Risk & Compliance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Presenting, developing, managing and maintaining LPF's risk management framework
  • Oversight of risks and issues, including independent review, assurance and timely reporting to key stakeholders in relation to the effectiveness of the control environment and compliance with regulatory obligations and requirements
  • Coordinate and manage the effective recording, analysis and reporting of incidents
  • Contribute to the development of appropriate systems / tools to measure and report on key risk management metrics and support reporting to corporate boards, committees and the SLT where appropriate
  • Developing and monitoring key risk indicators for various risks and obligations to measure business performance against risk appetite
  • Represent R&C on projects and change initiatives as required
  • Assist business stakeholders with design and implementation of operational best practice and process and control improvements
  • Delivering routine, themed and induction R&C training to staff as required
  • Coordinate planning and management of regulatory change
  • Developing, maintaining, reviewing and oversight of R&C policies as appropriate

What experience are we looking for?

The following requirements are essential for this role:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within compliance function of a FCA regulated business preferably involving asset management
  • Member of professional body in good standing (or eligible for same).
  • Clean basic vetting checks
  • Acceptable regulatory reference
