Your new role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced permanent Compliance Manager to come and join our team on our FM Scotland Schools Account.

Location: Eurocentral, Motherwell, ML1 4UR

Contract: Permanent

Hours per week: 37.5

This position is hybrid, office based in Eurocentral, Motherwell.

In this role, you'll oversee 6 accounts across Scotland, ensuring statutory and mandatory compliance. Your responsibilities include meticulous checking of PPM paperwork, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to uphold compliance standards.

What will the role involve?
  • Undertake Assurance audits in a timely manner, ensuring all requirements are met throughout audit.
  • Communicate and work with Delivery Managers to ensure statutory and Mandatory Compliance is met at all times.
  • Deliver Compliance training where necessary offering technical support and advice.
  • Help to maintain standards as set out in the Service Level Agreement.
  • Communicate and escalate problems and concerns promptly through line management ensuring quick resolution.
  • Attend meetings with Client and colleagues where required.
  • Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across all contracts.
  • Able to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
  • Support and contribute to continuous improvement.

What are we looking for?
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance and standards essential
  • Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people both written and verbal.
  • Good report writing skills and computer literacy - Microsoft Office
  • Team player with an enthusiastic and flexible attitude with a pro-active approach
  • Self-motivated and creative
  • Comply with all relevant Amey policies, for example those related to health and safety, working hours, alcohol and drugs, and occupational road risk.
  • Adhere to Amey's Zero Code.
  • Previous experience of working within the Facilities/Estate management arena.
  • Facilities Management qualifications are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and compliance.
  • IT Literate.
  • Team management, working on own initiative, understand deadlines and priority.
  • Dealing with customer and client.
