Your new job, Delegated Authority Bordereaux & Data Manager, will be working for a growing Insurance Company who are operating in the Lloyd's of London market. They conduct our business via a global network of service companies, with offices located in the UK, Ireland, the United States, Asia, including Singapore, Lebanon and Dubai. Your new company prides themselves on growth from within and provides solutions covering Casualty, Marine & Cargo, Aerospace, Cyber, Political Violence, Trade Credit and Property, Contingency and Yacht. Due to growth within the Delegated Authority team, a permanent job for a Delegated Authority, Bordereaux & Data Manager, to both manage a team and complete a day to day DA role, has arisen.

Your new role
In your new role as working as a Delegated Authority Bordereaux & Data Manager, you will be responsible for managing a small team of Bordereaux & Data Analysts and Assistants (bordereaux team) overseeing the delivery of bordereaux processes for delegated underwriting, providing timely and standardised data to internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that bordereaux data and management information are timely, up-to-date, relevant, complete, accurate and consistent. Other duties will include; overseeing adherence to the delegated underwriting bordereaux process in the various classes of business underwritten utilising relevant internal and market tools, namely DDM/Tide and Lloyd's v5.2 Minimum Reporting Standards. You will manage the ongoing workload of the bordereaux team and progress towards completing up-to-date DDM contract profiles, questionnaires, mapping and peer review processes in line with Lloyd's and Lloyd's Europe requirements. You will also oversee feedback from Lloyd's brokers, coverholders and stakeholders on accuracy and timeliness of data provided, including escalation and reporting of data queries and breaches against relevant underwriting controls, and provide bordereaux and data training to the bordereaux team and assist with the on-boarding of new team members as necessary.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working managing a Broker, Insurer, MGA or Subsidary where you have proven experience of team leading as well as managing Delegated Authority or Binder Management risks will contribute to your success in this role. You will have proven experience managing complex DA risks across a multitude of business classes as well as sound knowledge of risk and premium reporting and credit control for delegated underwriting and be able to use Lloyd's delegated authority tools, e.g. Atlas, DCOM, IMR, Blueprint 2. The ideal candidate will have a solid work history and be able to manage his own workload and to work both supportively and jointly with colleagues and have the ability to work under pressure and flexibly when necessary, prioritising tasks, resource planning and meeting deadlines.
