We are looking for a Security Engineer, who will work closely with developers, security teams, and IT operations to ensure our software products' secure, reliable, and efficient delivery. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the security of our software products, ensuring that security is integrated throughout the development process, and proactively identifying and mitigating potential security risks.

Java 17, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Amazon Web Services, Docker, Node.js, Vue.js, Jenkins and more.

We are looking for a Security Engineer, who will work closely with developers, security teams, and IT operations to ensure our software products' secure, reliable, and efficient delivery. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the security of our software products, ensuring that security is integrated throughout the development process, and proactively identifying and mitigating potential security risks.

What you will do?
- Design, implement, and manage security measures, monitoring and controls based on cybersecurity best practices.
- Monitor security systems (e.g., SIEM) for anomalies and respond to security incidents as part of the SOC team, minimizing impact on operations.
- Conduct security assessments and audits across cloud and on-premises environments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigative actions.
- Collaborate with Tribes to ensure security measures align with regulatory obligations and business needs.
- Provide input on security aspects of DevOps practices and infrastructure projects, promoting a security-first mindset in development and operational processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and infrastructure.
Ideally, you have the following skills:
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, with an understanding of zero-trust architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud security best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and domains.
- Basic understanding of networking principles and security protocols.
It's a bonus, if you have:
- Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes).
- Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC), with incident detection, analysis, and response skills.
- Knowledge or understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in the banking industry.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Optional: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or other relevant security certifications.
