Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Compliance Officer to join the Sim Engineering Team of Europe's largest airline group!

This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody to progress their career and gain experience in Europe's leading airline. Our ever expanding network of simulators are in use over 20 hours per day to ensure that we can successfully carry out initial and recurrent training on over 8000 pilots per year.

As a SIM Compliance Officer, you will support the SIM Compliance Manager in conducting audits, ensuring our Compliance Department are up to date with the latest EASA and CAA sim regulations, and

The role is based full time in our Stansted Training Centre. However, this is an exciting time to join the Ryanair Simulator Organization as we look to expand our operation to 45+ Simulators and expand our simulator centres from 4 to 6 with new locations opening in Madrid and Krakow in 2025.

Duties Include but not limited to;
  • Support initial and recurrent sim evaluations.
  • Support MEP and other meetings as required.
  • Administration and review of Compliance Manual
  • Conduct internal audits and support with audits conducted by aviation authorities.
  • Detailed record keeping.
  • Keep up to date with current and future simulator regulations.
  • Deputize for the Compliance Manager, when required

Requirements
  • Relevant technical engineering degree or other relevant qualification with 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience reviewing audit findings and determining root cause.
  • Simulator Engineering experience preferred but not required as training will be given.
  • Ability to implement changes to practices and procedures.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe to support on site audits.
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
