This is an exciting time to join our Department of Computer Science , as we're looking to expand our team and recruit a number of specialist and academic positions, in preparation for the launch of two new innovative Master's degrees - one in Cyber Resilience, and a Computing Conversion course, aimed at candidates with a non-technical background.

The role and what we're looking for:

Are you passionate about leading and shaping the future of cyber security? We're looking for a Senior Cyber Security Specialist to join the Department of Computer Science, who will bring their broad understanding of the field, along with any unique industrial experience to prepare our students for the demand in cyber skills.

The role will require leading of cyber security modules, developing teaching materials, and delivering lectures and labs. Input from you will be at the leadership level, both giving direction to the future of the master's degree and supporting in a managerial capacity.

  • The position is open ended and full-time (37 hours per week), however part-time and job share applications will also be considered. Hybrid working is also available, with a mix of working in the office and from home.

Assessment Process
