We're looking for a Policy and Compliance Manager to join our team in Kings Hill, Kent, UK.

As a Policy & Contract Manager, the role will be reporting directly into the Group Legal and Governance Executive to support across a variety of elements, with a large focus on assisting with our group policies and assisting with contract reviews across UK and Europe. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Your role is crucial in mitigating risks, protecting the company's interests, and ensuring lawful and ethical business operations.

Responsibilities include
    • Assist in developing and updating company policies to ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
    • Maintain the policy framework and policy portal, working with the Group P&C departments as required;
    • Support the implementation of policies .
    • Monitor changes in laws and regulations and update policies accordingly.
    • Assist in managing legal documents and records, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
    • Review contracts, ensuring they meet Group guidelines and legal and regulatory requirements in UK and/or Europe

Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field is preferred but not essential providing a strong background in compliance management or contract review has been gained.
    • Strong understanding of legal and compliance principles, ideally in a European context.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, working with senior leadership and exec leadership levels
    • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
    • Proficiency in legal research and policy writing.
