We are looking for you,

Risk Analyst, Market risk

to join our Market Risk & Middle office team in Espoo. The position will be fixed term until September 2025.

Currently based in Espoo, Geneva and Houston, our international team of experts works in the Market risk & Middle office team within Neste Corporate treasury and risk management function. We are responsible for designing and implementing market risk management framework, commodity risk monitoring and control and commodity derivatives post trade processes.

You will work closely with sales and hedging teams to support their decision making by following market risk exposures, calculating financial impacts and ensuring market risk compliance. You will also have an important role by ensuring correct internal practices and controls are followed. Your role in our team

• Analyze commodity trades and monitor market risk exposures
• Follow agreed hedging strategies and risk limits
• Work on the improvement of existing processes in collaboration with other teams
• Solve complex cases related to commodity risk exposures

Keys to success in this role

• Bachelor or Master's degree in relevant field
• Previous experience (summer jobs included) working with market risks in the fields of commodity, energy or banking
• Good understanding of commodity and derivatives risk exposures
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in English, both written and verbal
• Analytical mindset and problem solving skills
• Excellent team working capabilities
• Responsible attitude with a safety-oriented mindset

Other strengths we value

• Previous experience with PowerBI and Allegro ETRM System
