What You will be responsible for
- Vulnerability scanning
- Vulnerability assessment and prioritisation
- Configuring vulnerability detection tools
- Preparing reports presenting risks and vulnerabilities in the environment
- Periodical review of systems configuration
- Evaluation and recommendation about vulnerability scanners
- Preparation and maintenance of services documentation
- Ensuring that environment is well protected
- Working along other teams to solve the security-related problems
Our Requirements
- Interest in IT security, network and server administration technologies
- network knowledge and understanding of basic concepts
- Experience in any of the scripting languages (Powershell, Python etc.)
- Basic knowledge of security terminology
- Knowledge of vulnerability terminology (CVE, CWE, CPE, CAPEC etc.)
- Understanding of Vulnerability Management Life Cycle and why it matters
- Ability to present technical data to non-technical people
- Highlighting the risks and creating roadmaps how it can be mitigated
- Proactive approach in finding improvements or possibilities for automation
- B2 level (or higher) of spoken and written English including technical vocabulary
- Willingness to learn new technologies and do some hands-on testing
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with analyzing cyber threats
- Basic understanding of vulnerability scanners (Tenable Nessus, Qualys etc.)
- Basic knowledge of Linux systems
- Understanding of compliance/hardening
- Security related certificates, such as: CompTIA Security +, CySA+ etc.
- Technology certificates such as: SC-200, MS-500 etc.
- Other certificates which proof knowledge in field of security and technology administration
