OT Cyber Security Engineer Contract 6 Months Outside IR– 600p/day

Key Responsibilities:

• Firewall Management: Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls to ensure robust protection of OT networks.
• Security Assessments: Conduct thorough security assessments and vulnerability analyses of OT systems.
• Incident Response: Develop and execute incident response plans to address and mitigate security breaches.
• Policy Development: Create and enforce security policies and procedures tailored to OT environments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross–functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to integrate security measures into system designs and operational processes.
• Monitoring & Maintenance: Continuously monitor OT networks for potential threats and maintain security tools and systems.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including NIST, IEC 62443, and other relevant frameworks.
• Training & Awareness: Provide training and support to staff on OT cyber security best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in OT cyber security engineering.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GICSP, CEH, and other industry–recognized credentials.
• Technical Skills: Extensive experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), network segmentation, and other OT security technologies.
• Knowledge: In–depth understanding of OT protocols (e.g., SCADA, DCS, PLCs) and industrial control systems.
• Problem–Solving: Strong analytical and problem–solving skills with the ability to respond quickly to security incidents.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non–technical stakeholders.
