Quality and Governance Manager
We are offering an exciting opportunity for this pivotal role in the Integrated Governance Unit. Working closely with the Assistant Director of Integrated Governance, Corporate team and Divisional leaders you willlead and develop clinical governance in the clinical divisions across TGICFT.
We are looking for an inspirational, kind and compassionate leaders who who will develop a skilled team to deliver the Trust's objectives and aims in relation to governance.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will lead and develop a system of clinical governance management as part of an integrated organisational governance framework and promote a patient-centred, learning and safety culture across all services provided by the Divisions.
The post-holder will support the management of risk at all levels at Divisional level across the Division and be a key member of the Divisional Governance Group.
The post-holder will provide specialist advice to support the Divisional Management team to meet quality standards, risk, complaints and incident management standards appropriate to their specialty. The post holder will support with incident management and investigation in line with the Serious Incident Framework (2015) and following this the National PSIRF and support the Division and organisation to transition to the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework in line with organisational plans. Following the Trust wide implementation of the PSIRF the post holder will be required to undertake necessary training to lead and support investigations and to provide support and guidance to others.
The post-holder will work within a larger Integrated Governance Team including other Divisional Governance and Quality Managers, with the aim of shared learning. The post-holder will also support the central legal team, complaints and risk and safety teams to ensure compliance with regard to key metrics is met.
