In this role, you will provide supply chain governance, oversight and compliance arrangements across EDF Energy Nuclear Operations department.
Pay, Benefits and Culture
We can offer a competitive salary from £40,069 - £60,826 with terms and conditions covered by the EDF Nuclear Operations Company Agreement. You'll be appointed based on the parameters outlined in the Company Agreement as well as your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications.

What you'll be doing
Supply Chain Governance Specialist roles and responsibilities include:
- Support the development and implementation of the Generation Supply Chain Governance Strategy.
- Support the development, implementation and promotion of functional improvement activities.
- Collation, publication and distribution of functional key performance information.
- Support the business in applying the supplier pre-qualification standards, vendor database management standards and administering the vendor database.
- Maintain appropriate level of external supplier contact to undertake responsibilities effectively and liaison with Supply Chain Management to ensure business and operational support.
- Communicate with key stakeholders across the Generation business.
- Participate in fleet wide peer groups.
- Support delivery of Supply Chain related training and development.
- Provide guidance on the effective use of Supply Chain processes across the Generation business.
- Ensure governance is applied throughout all aspects of the Supply Chain processes to deliver safety, quality and commercial objectives.
- Interaction with, and contribution to EDF Energy wide Supply Chain related matters.
Who you are
- As a minimum, you will have a HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject and preferably hold or be working towards MCIPS.
- We're looking for you to demonstrate previous experience of working within a supply chain environment within a relevant industry. Along with this, knowledge of relevant legislation governing supply chain activities is also required
- Holding awareness of best practice, and evidence of influencing change and being a real team player is imperative for this role.
