PDMI is looking for a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join our team!

PDMI, a leader in pharmacy benefits processing, is seeking a dynamic Chief Information Officer (CIO) to align our technology initiatives with our strategic business objectives and lead us into the future. Please note: This position requires the ability to travel on a semi-regular (at least monthly) basis to our office in Poland, Ohio.

Since 1984, PDMI has provided pharmacy data processing and other flexible, scalable solutions to help our clients meet their business objectives. We offer transparent, pass-through pharmacy processing and other services for private label Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), vertically integrated health plans and hospital systems. In addition to Pharmacy Benefit Administrative Services, we offer 340B Administration, Hospice and Long-Term Care Services.

Position Overview:As the CIO, you will be a key member of our executive leadership team, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive technology strategy that positions PDMI as a leader in the industry. You will oversee infrastructure, networking, telephony, security, compliance, business continuity, and risk management. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring PDMI's technological capabilities are optimized for scalability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Align technology strategy with PDMI's business objectives.
  • Develop and communicate a visionary technology roadmap.
  • Enhance PDMI's technological capabilities and operational efficiencies.
  • Manage infrastructure, security, compliance, and risk management.
  • Drive workflow and process improvements.
  • Optimize technology assets and budget management.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other certifications.
  • Foster strategic partnerships and manage client relationships.
  • Lead and inspire technology teams, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • BS/BA in Computer Science or related field; MS/MA preferred.
  • Proven experience in a CIO or similar leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HIPAA regulations and information security standards.
  • Strong business acumen with extensive IT systems and infrastructure knowledge.
  • Proven strategic planning and execution capabilities.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word).
