About the job

We're looking for a Regulatory & Compliance Manager to join our Proposition team at Tails.com. This individual will be instrumental in ensuring that our on and off pack claims and communications at Tails.com are regulated and compliant. You will provide support to the wider pack by collaborating with and guiding them through the regulatory needs and requirements to ensure compliance.

Changing the world of pet food for good

We're Tails.com, a dog food subscription company with a big difference. We create truly tailored food for each and every dog we serve. We start by asking people a few simple questions about their dog. Then we use that information to create their dog's unique Tails.com recipe - so their dog gets exactly the nutrition they need, in the taste they love, delivered to their door every month. It's clever stuff.

We've got ambitious plans. Having created an entirely new category in pet food, we're now scaling fast in the UK and Europe - backed by Purina, one of the world's largest pet food companies. You'll join a bunch of smart people working towards the same goals - and a bunch of smart-ish dogs, all working on their own thing.

Together, we'll change the world of pet food for good.

Brand & Proposition

The Brand & Proposition group exists to make Tails.com stand out from the crowd with a distinctive brand and valuable proposition that exceeds customer expectations. We are definers, optimisers and innovators of the holistic physical, digital and service proposition.

As a pack we work together to deliver a powerful proposition and brand rooted in customer and market insight. We always have a deep understanding of dogs and dog owners, their needs and what they value. We use this understanding to drive how we optimise and innovate our unique proposition in a holistic way, ultimately building a compelling and enduring brand.

Build our brand

We're building an international brand, fast. We set ambitious goals. We challenge and support each other in equal measure. At the pace we're moving, we prefer to test ideas and learn quickly rather than spend months building a business case. That means we celebrate when things go right, and we learn when things go wrong.

Sound like a team you'd like to join? Here's how you'll make a difference:

The role

As the Regulatory & Compliance Manager, you will ensure that our on and off pack claims and communications at Tails.com are regulated and compliant. You will provide support, risk assessments and solutions for product labelling and regulatory issues and be a central contact for Purina RSA teams.

  • Proposing, implementing and validating action plans in response to regulatory changes in the market; Reporting back to the Tails.com team and proposing and implementing action plans in response to regulatory changes
  • Contributing as a key team member on innovation and renovation projects and be assigned as the regulatory collaborator

The skills you'll bring:
