Role Cyber Security Engineer aka : Information Security Engineer, IT Security Engineer, Network Security Engineer, Security Analyst, SOC

Location - Milton Keynes or Birmingham / Hybrid c. 50% days office

Salary - 48K - 5% Pension, 25 Days (Rising to 30 + Buy / Sell), Health Plan

What's the role?

You will be working closely with the Information Security and Risk Officer to ensure compliance identify risk and implement remediation. More widely keep abreast of security technology, legislative change and emerging threats. Technical Projects (Systems implementations / Upgrades), policies, DR and contingency plans. Monitor of attacks and intrusions as well as testing and evaluation of security products on the groups network.

What do you need?

• Experience in ISO 27001, NIST or similar environment
• Solid IT skills - Networks, O/S, Software, Hardware
• Next Generation Firewalls
• Experience in a wholly or largely Cyber Security role
