We are looking for someone to come and work with us to support the Information Governance Manager and their team.
HPFT provides life changing care to people from all walks of life.
The Information Rights and Compliance team challenges ourselves to live the Trust values in every interaction with colleagues, service users, carers, and the public.
We believe that data protection is a safety net, not a blocker! Our approach to information governance is practical, credible, and seeks to build data protection into everything the Trust does.
Main duties of the job
The team ensure that the Trust complies with Information Rights Law including the Data Protection Act 2018, the UK General Data Protection Regulation, Access to Health Records Act 1990, the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in this specialist area, or be able to demonstrate transferable skills from another discipline.
