Position Statement:
Our Finance team serves as a critical business partner responsible for managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management.
What will I be doing?
The HAFS organisation manages the accounting and finance functions both on property and at a corporate level, allowing us to develop scalable, global processes that allow team members the opportunity for growth and the ability to spend more time on strategic, high-value work. This includes managing relationships with our critical business partners across our global activities with a key focus on driving finance process transformation to deliver sustainable benefit for our key customers.
The Interim Manager, HAFS Performance Governance will assume responsibility for leading assigned day-to-day activities of the HAFS Performance Governance function, providing metric/KPI reporting as well as ongoing insights and analysis to support a customer purpose-led delivery model. The post holder will be expected to play a key role in HAFS' regional expansion, working closely with the implementation team on optimum governance strategy and solutions. Under the direction and guidance of the Senior Manager, HAFS Performance Governance, the post holder will be charged with providing input on current best practice and developing a metric reporting strategy to ensure delivery against business requirements. They will support Hilton's provision of a seamless, efficient, and customer-focused experience, which maximizes on output without compromising the quality of service.

Key to the success of the role will be the ability to collaborate at all levels, both internally and with external stakeholders, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners. Awareness of projects and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and deliver to tight deadlines are considered essential elements of this role.
The post holder will possess the capacity to effectively contribute towards a strong customer-focused ethos whilst supporting the need for maintenance of a robust control environment. The interim manager HAFS Performance Governance will exhibit meticulous attention to detail, the ability to accurately interpret key business drivers within the Shared Services arena and to recommend appropriate action where necessary. They will also support the Centre of Excellence in the interpretation and application of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), providing input to support development, refinement, and ongoing monitoring to ensure that agreed service delivery metrics are met/exceeded.
Required:
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision, using own initiative whilst thriving in a fast-paced environment, being able to handle multiple demands and appropriately prioritise responsibilities.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills with some understanding of finance and accounting environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others, as well as support development in this area with other team members.
• Proficient in MS Office products, especially Excel, and with the ability to quickly learn new programmes or features when required.
• Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritise and implement all elements required for team to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with core strategic goals.
• Experience communicating and negotiating with all levels of management and external partners.
Preferred:
• Good project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met.
• Capacity to perceive the impact and implications of decisions and activities on other parts of the organisation.
Required Qualifications
• Proficient in business intelligence / analytics software, in particular Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience implementing changes to business processes, technologies, and systems
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience of working within a Shared Services / Centre of Excellence / Business Process Outsourcing environment.
• Hospitality industry experience.
• Proficient in business intelligence / analytics software, in particular Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI.
