Role Purpose:

The Data Governance Analyst will support and contribute to the effective implementation of data governance policies, processes and platform in Allwyn, as well as the management of the Privacy Information Management System. They will ensure the integrity, accuracy and governance of Allwyn's data assets. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the data governance function, ensuring the availability, quality, and compliance of Allwyn's data assets.

Role Responsibilities:
• Assist in implementing and managing the enterprise-wide data governance strategy and framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data quality metrics, data classification, and data lineage.
• Understand the data governance implications of data privacy laws and policies and how they can be implemented and operationalised.
• Assist in the development and delivery of data governance training and awareness programs.
• Participate in data governance projects, initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Foster cross functional data governance and support data owners, stakeholders and networks in understanding and implementing data governance requirements.
• Monitor data governance processes and ensure adherence to established policies and standards.
• To work with the DPO, Data Champions, and Information Security team to integrate and continuously manage the Privacy Information Management System (PIMS), to support the ongoing maintenance of the ISO27701 certification.
• Operationalise the audit portfolio as it applies to data compliance and the requirements of ISO27701
• Inform and advise the business on data protection issues, undertaking data protection impact assessments, responding to Data Subject rights requests and working with relevant stakeholders to address privacy related risks.
• Report on key performance indicators regarding data quality, compliance with data-related policies, standards, and other data governance program objectives.
• Support and facilitate continuous improvement efforts leading to efficient data governance processes.
• Communicate and educate business owners and stewards on data best practices.
• Work with the security and compliance leaders to establish and manage data privacy standards and access controls to protect and secure data.
• To support the onboarding of new team members with training and development.
• To conduct the admin role for privacy modules in OneTrust, the Privacy management tool

Requirements
Key Skills and Experience:
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Familiarity with privacy and security risk assessment and best practices, privacy certifications and information security standards certifications.
• Experience with data governance tools, and/or privacy management tools.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent partnership and engagement skills to collaborate with leadership, IT teams, and business end-users.
• Ability to provide ongoing maintenance and support for privacy/data governance tools and systems.
• Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of the value drivers of the business.
• Strong project management skills, creative problem solving and solutioning abilities.
