As a Network Security Engineer, you will:
- Build, verify, and deploy software solutions tailored to enhance network security.
- Perform necessary upgrades on existing software systems to improve performance and security while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve network security issues promptly, utilizing debugging tools and techniques to address software and network problems.
- Configure Linux and Wintel systems, ensuring optimal performance and security, and manage system configurations to align with organizational security policies.
- Design and implement secure file transfer protocols, develop and maintain data flow processes, and safely decommission outdated or redundant data flow processes, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
What you bring to the table:
- 8-10 years of experience in network security, including hands-on experience with Check Point, Fortinet, and F5 technology for traffic management and application delivery.
- Knowledgeable about networks and VPN IPSEC configurations.
- Comfortable working in an agile development environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess network security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills to develop effective solutions quickly and efficiently.
You should possess the ability to:
