Syensqo is seeking a Network Security CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker) Architect/Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for designing, implementing, and managing our CASB solutions to protect against threats, enforce security policies, and ensure compliance across our cloud services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, cloud computing, and CASB technologies, with a proven track record of securing enterprise cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- CASB Solution Design and Implementation: Develop and implement CASB strategies that align with our organization's security policies and compliance requirements. Design CASB architectures that effectively protect cloud services and applications.
- Security Policy Enforcement: Configure and manage CASB tools to monitor and control cloud traffic, enforce security policies, and prevent data leaks. Develop custom policies and controls tailored to organizational needs.
- Threat Detection and Response: Utilize CASB solutions to detect and respond to threats in real-time. Implement automated responses and investigate security incidents to mitigate risks.
- Compliance and Data Protection: Ensure that cloud services and data processing activities comply with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR). Work closely with compliance teams to align CASB configurations with legal requirements.
- Integration and Collaboration: Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to integrate CASB solutions with existing security tools and infrastructure. Provide expert guidance on cloud security best practices.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and select CASB vendors based on technical requirements, performance, and cost-effectiveness. Manage vendor relationships and oversee the implementation of third-party solutions.
- Training and Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for CASB architectures, policies, and procedures. Conduct training sessions for IT staff and end-users on cloud security awareness and best practices.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP) are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security, with at least 2 years focused on CASB technologies and cloud security.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and cloud security principles.
- Experience with CASB solutions (e.g., Netskope, McAfee, Microsoft Cloud App Security) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of security standards and compliance frameworks relevant to cloud computing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex security projects.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of explaining complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
