About the role

The Supplier Relationship & Governance Manager is a key part of a small team at Just and plays a key role in the management of Just's Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) programme. You join at an exciting time of further development in Just's TPRM capability, involving deep collaboration with business stakeholders, 2nd and 3rd Line teams, suppliers and adoption of additional software tooling to enhance TPRM.

The core purpose of the role is to oversee a supplier relationship management (SRM) governance framework aligned to the Group Procurement & Outsourcing Policy (GPOP) and regulatory requirements. This will ensure that material outsourcing and third parties to Just are onboarded, monitored and managed to minimise external risks to Just.

This also includes collaborating with Relationship Managers (RM) role across the organisation who own material third party relationships. Your work with the RM community ensures that supplier performance is regularly reviewed and third-party risks are identified and managed.

Responsibilities
  • Support the embedding of the TPRM governance framework across Just Group, aligned to the Group Procurement & Outsourcing Policy (GPOP) and Group Procurement & Outsourcing Manual (GPOM)
  • Update TPRM policy frameworks to align with regulatory changes and guidance from Just's Risk and Compliance teams
  • Manage Just's contracts management and TPRM system and driving a programme of enhancements to drive more risk coverage and user acceptance of the system
  • Work collaboratively with RMs across the organisation to ensure they comply with third party governance processes
  • Ensure RMs meet periodic milestones for governance activities - monthly/quarterly/annual reviews, annual due diligence questionnaires, annual compliance attestations, materiality assessments, updating of Register of Third Parties
  • Ensure the quality of TPRM activities are completed in accordance with TPRM framework requirements and in line with Just's Consumer Duty and ESG requirements
  • Lead RM workshops or lunch and learn events - to advocate for deeper delivery of TPRM
  • Lead and manage direction of monthly Supplier Relationship Management Committee (SRMC).
  • Continuously improve and manage the new supplier on-boarding process, to ensure all material and non-material outsourcing/third party arrangements owned by the business adhere to GPOP and GPOM
  • Update GPOM biannually
  • Support due diligence exercises on existing and proposed suppliers
  • Facilitate annual risk reviews and ensuring any third-party risks identified are owned and accepted, or have agreed mitigating actions in place
  • Compile quarterly risk reports
  • Compile annual PRA information requests
  • Support the business in maintaining oversight of supplier performance reviews and associated documentation and monitoring their frequency
  • Continuously improve performance and risk assessment governance and metrics
  • Administer processes and controls to manage all supplier information and acting as primary data controller for supplier data
  • Support Compliance and RMs in understanding the impact of existing and proposed regulatory legislation
  • Support Compliance Monitoring and Internal Audit exercises, ensuring actions are completed within deadlines
  • Assist with the production of formal documents and policies

Skills & Experience
  • Experience in a dedicated SRM or TPRM role
  • Ability to work effectively within a de-centralised SRM environment
  • Financial Services background desirable
  • Ability to work with numerous stakeholders across an extensive and varied supplier base
  • Supplier database management and reporting
  • Commercial awareness
  • Knowledge of contract and TPRM fundamentals
  • Storytelling TPRM concepts to RMs and senior management
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Highly organised and structured ways of working
  • System and process development skills
  • Formal document writing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
