Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Application Security Specialist for a client based in Dublin, to ensure the security of their software systems. You will identify and mitigate security risks, perform code reviews, and support development teams with secure coding practices.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Conduct security assessments of applications.
  • Manage and prioritize application vulnerabilities.
  • Review code for security issues and guide secure coding practices.
  • Integrate security controls into application designs.
  • Develop automated security testing tools.
  • Contribute to security awareness and training programs.
  • Assist in incident response and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:
  • At least 7 years' experience in Cybersecurity or equivalent.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Knowledge of application security principles and secure coding.
  • Experience with security assessment tools and code reviews.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, cloud security, and relevant programming languages.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • DAST, SAST, OWASP, PCI DSS

Work Model: Hybrid, with both in-office and remote days.

**This is a daily rate contract opportunity, therefore will need applicants to have right
to work in place for the duration of the role**
