Proposition Governance Manager

Reigate - Hybrid

We have an exciting opportunity for a brand new role within our Retail Proposition team, to support our Product Governance activities. Reporting into the Head of Governance & Technical, you will work closely with Product Leads and key stakeholders across the business, to gather data, trends and insights, whilst assuring that governance practices are understood and adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and reviewing the Product Development and Product Governance Processes and co-ordinating with others to ensure that Governance activities are initiated at the required times.

  • Provide expertise and support to the Retail Business on Product Governance as well as Consumer Duty

  • Working with the Head of Governance and Technical and other internal stakeholders to complete the annual Fair Value Assessments and Product Reviews.

  • Supporting the Head of Governance &Technical and Product Leads to ensure products and processes are launched, governed and closed in line with our Product Governance and Product Development procedures.

  • Gathering, analysing and monitoring MI data and identifying any trends for Retail products, in line with Product Governance requirements and Consumer Duty.

  • Gathering, analysing and summarising data for internal reporting to forums and committees

  • Providing required reporting to internal committees within the specified timescales and following up on any actions after.

  • Collaborating effectively with stakeholders across Retail and acting as a champion for Governance processes.

  • Supporting the Head of Governance & Technical in the evolution of our Governance framework with a continuous improvement mindset.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in financial services

  • Experience of implementing/embedding Consumer Duty or other Governance activities

  • Excellent data analysis with the ability to concisely articulate trends.

  • Ability to engage with and influence stakeholders;

  • Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills

  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
