As a Network Analyst-CISCO, you will:
- Provide first and second-line incident resolution for network elements across all NHQ networks and their interconnections.
- Monitor element manager systems such as Cisco Prime, DNAc, and NDFC.
- Troubleshoot network-related issues, including Cisco Access and Core Switching, Cisco Wireless, Cisco ISE NAC 802.1X, NATO PKI certificates on network devices, NLB, DNS, and IPAM.
- Commission Access Layer ports for various network services.
- Update MS DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
- Perform software upgrades on Cisco access switches.
- Assist with software patching and configuration clean-up of network devices.
- Configure Network Load Balancer rules and update application certificates.
- Support pilot testing, commissioning, and implementation of new network elements.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for network elements.
- Handle any additional network analyst duties as required.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Active Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification in routing and switching.
- At least two years of experience in supporting Cisco Routing and Switching.
- One year of experience in supporting Microsoft DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
- One year of experience with Cisco ISE.
- One year of experience with Cisco Prime or equivalent management systems.
- Familiarity with VMware Virtual Networking, VRF, and Multicasting.
- Experience with Citrix NetScaler or any other Network Load Balancer system.
You should possess the ability to:
- Effectively resolve incidents and troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Monitor and maintain network performance using Cisco tools and systems.
- Implement configuration changes, including Access Layer commissioning and switch upgrades.
- Collaborate on network element testing and commissioning.
- Maintain accurate network documentation and Standard Operating Procedures.
