What You Can Expect
As the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer in Houston, Texas for ENGIE North America, you will establish and maintain a company–wide information technology (IT) / operational technology (OT) sustainable cybersecurity program by developing and maintaining the North America cyber vision, strategy, and architecture, to include establishing, maintaining, and monitoring the policies and procedures which promote the secure and uninterrupted operation of all IT and OT systems. Every day, you will report to the Chief Information Security Officer to assist in leading and driving ENGIE's overall IT/OT cybersecurity strategy, program, and risk posture. Furthermore, you will manage and implement the North America internal guidelines and controls for compliance with Group (Global) policy, regulatory mandates, and program requirements established by the North America CISO. This leader will be a key member of the Cybersecurity Leadership Team.
What You'll Bring
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in cybersecurity, IT/OT system design, integration of systems, and networking in a professional setting; in lieu of a four–year degree, you should bring a total of twelve (12) years of experience in which you have gained an understanding of information technology and cybersecurity where you have been responsible for developing and maintaining strategy and architecture for cybersecurity teams.
- Demonstrated project management, organization, and facilitation skills in a work setting.
- Demonstrated track record of success in leading technology teams with exceptional strategic vision, conceptual thinking, analytical, and problem–solving skills.
- Proven experience in process improvement orientation.
- Ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise manner to technical and non–technical groups.
- Previous experience in strategic planning, collaboration, and coordination across multiple functions, including Legal, Operations, Finance, and HR.
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy.
- Must be available to travel domestically up to 10% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips.
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies.
Compensation
Salary Range: $146,300 – $224,135 USD annually. This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus/incentive plan.
