Hello! Schneider Electric now has a challenging opportunity for a passionate individual to join our DevSecOps team. You will develop a very advanced and scalable cross platform development infrastructure that all our global R&D teams will benefit from. Our successful IoT platform for Building Management has many facets and a vast technology depth, in other words you will learn and get new experiences every day. You will be a part of a high-performing and innovative team consisting of handful highly professional developers. The position is in Lund but daily interactions with our other developments sites in other countries is standard.

The Digital Buildings Business of Schneider Electric provides Intelligent building management solutions to help customers create a productive and comfortable environment for its occupants, reduce energy consumption and run building operations efficiently.

Building Business R&D has around 200 engineers organized into agile SW and HW development teams.The responsibilities coming with the role are to, together with the other team members.
  • Develop in-house tools and solutions to support our R&D organization.
  • Implement DevSecOps technologies and processes, e.g.: build, test, secure and maintain infrastucture and tools.
  • Automate wherever possible whilst always knowing how far is 'too far'.
  • Constantly innovate and evaluate new technologies.
  • Collaborate with software teams in Europe and the U.S.

Wish list of skills and experience.
  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Values team success, team player.
  • Exposure to Agile working methodologies.
  • Good knowledge in programming and scripting languages such as Rust and Python.
  • Understanding of system administration tasks on Linux and Windows, configuring and deploying operating systems, networks and application stacks.
  • A background working with continuous integration and delivery pipelines using git, Artifactory and docker.
  • Exposure to on-prem Kubernetes and Azure cloud services.
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills - learning fast through sharing knowledge.
