Job summary
The post holder will lead the development of the ICB's and the whole BLMK system's work to develop a comprehensive, expert and highly effective approach to risk management.
The post holders will need to work closely with senior partners at Board level to understand the major risks in health and care in BLMK , how these are changing over time and provide assurance and challenge on the plans to mitigate them.
Main duties of the job
The Corporate and System Risk Manager will provide expert advice and guidance on risk management to ICB Executives, Non-Executive Members and Senior Managers, maintaining the trust and support of the ICBs Audit and Risk Assurance Committee. '
The post holder will continue the development of the new dynamic system risk register workingworking closely with senior system partner across the NHS, Local Authorities, VCSE partners and beyond.
The postholder will be responsible for the risk management software and processes to manage and report to various governance bodies.

lead the organisations risk function, acting as a proud ambassador for good risk management in the ICB, and across and beyond BLMK;
