We're looking for a Graduate Sustainability & Compliance Officer to join the Auger team based at our state-of-the-art head office in Wallasey.

The Job

To be successful in this role, we don't expect you to have any prior experience in compliance or sustainability as full training will be provided. We are looking for a driven individual who is eager to learn and develop.

As a member of Auger's business support team, you will assist in the collation and presentation of H&S, quality and compliance admin and data to demonstrate our compliance with ISO and legislative requirements. This will allow us to maintain good governance across the business whilst working closely with the management team. You will also drive our sustainability effort helping us to reach NetZero.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality comprehensive administrative support to report regularly upon H&S, supply chain, quality and environmental performance
  • Drive forward our sustainability processes and practices
  • Organise and participate in our 6 monthly H&S committee meetings
  • Take part in our annual external ISO audit review process along with internal customer audit reviews
  • Be responsible for the review and updating of internal company policies and H&S documentation
  • Assist the Business Support Team in all matters that ensure the smooth running of the business operations

Preferred skills & experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers and customers
  • Be pro-active, able to take initiative to see things through to completion
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to a new role
  • Possess a creative ability in the generation and production of new company policy documents as required
  • Good analytical and IT skills
  • Strong administrative skills
