Job Purpose: To Provide an IT presence across all construction sites. Based on the road, the engineer will support our remote construction sites. Role will include site setups and closures. Network, Wi-Fi and Connectivity provisioning. Ad Hoc IT support to end users

Your new role
Job Purpose: To Provide an IT presence across all construction sites. Based on the road, the engineer will support our remote construction sites. Role will include site setups and closures. Network, Wi-Fi and Connectivity provisioning. Ad Hoc IT support to end users
- Manage all user queries to completion and to an acceptable timescale
- Escalate problematic user queries to the IT Manager and work with them to resolve
- Liaise with third party support providers to resolve any user queries
- Ensure relevant software is installed, licenced, up to date and available to appropriate users in a timely manner
- Office 365 Administration of user accounts and permissions
- Recover relevant equipment from leavers
- Monitor patch management, network and Wi-Fi logs, investigate and repair any failures
- Support new & existing server/cloud-based enterprise applications, desktop applications and mobile applications.
- Liaise with external telephony providers for new connections and cancellations
- Configure and setup workstations to the company specifications.
- Repair and resolve technical problems
- Check new IT equipment on arrival, configure and install as required.
- Configure and support routers and access points.
- Undertake all moves and changes in association with the head office, new site openings and closures including all equipment setup requirements
- Undertake ad-hoc projects which are consistent with the nature of the job and its level of responsibility.
- Support the IT manager to deliver security policy by implementing any security related products as requested
What you'll need to succeed
- Working in an IT support (Windows) environment
- Obtain a good level of networking experience - ESSENTIAL
- Experience with a multi-location business would be desirable.
- Have experience with Microsoft technologies: 365 Azure/Windows/AD/Server OS Cybersecurity: firewalls/web filters/advanced protection and recovery Cloud technologies, Hyper-V, DNS &IP, and back-up solutions: Veeam/Avepoint.

- Hold a valid full UK driving licence - ESSENTIAL
- MTA accreditation is a bonus but not essential depending on job experience.
