Let's talk about the role
We are looking for a SSPM Security Architect for our Cloud Infrastructure Security team to work within the Novo Nordisk's Global Security Operations department. SSPM simplifies security and prevents breaches from business-critical SaaS applications by identifying data exposure and risks, detecting threats, and mapping compliance requirements.
As a SaaS Security Architect, you will be working with designing and implementing the SSPM solution that meet the needs of our organization. You will work closely with our engineering and security teams as well as system operations teams to ensure that our cloud infrastructure is secure.
We have a large network of stakeholders across the business and other IT operations teams. Staying in contact with other teams, both local and in other parts of the world, will be a part of your daily routine.

You understand technica capabilities of various cloud services, willing to learn about the cloud and how to protect it. As a person you are a team player and can communicate complex technological solutions and concepts to a broader audience, as part of our collaborative operations. You have a can-do mindset, positive by nature, pragmatic and with a heart beating for operational excellence, and hopefully some humor.

Part of your responsibilities will be to:
- Develop SSPM strategy in collaboration with the relevant business units in DD&IT
- Drive technical capabilities forward and make decisions on which path to take
- Design and implement the proper architecture for SSPM
- Troubleshooting technical issues that may arise
- Monitoring, analysis, and comprehension of reporting data
- Configuration, operation, and maintenance of the SSPM tool
- Monitor tooling and logs for malicious events, conduct investigations
We want you to cooperate with team members and stakeholders, vendors on features and technical issues, and all other teams in GSO ensuring operational efficiency of the SOC.
Which competencies to bring?
- Bachelor or master's degree in engineering, cyber security, or computer related fields
- Ability to build and maintain both standard and custom integrations
- Experience with automation using CI/CD pipelines and IaC
- Ability to maintain data ingestion from custom source such as Docker, PowerShell scripting and other API integrations
- Understanding and defining IAM RBAC roles
- Understanding technical deployments including IAM, e.g., the combination managing Entra ID groups and entitlements and business roles through scripts and automation
- Knowledge of security posture management tools
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, e.g., CIS, NIS2, ISO27001
