Computershare are currently looking to recruit an Infrastructure Security Engineer to join a team within Computershare Technology Services.
The Infrastructure Security Engineer role has the global responsibility of maintaining and improving processes within the Infrastructure Security Teams remit. This includes the review of the existing services IS group provides, new services being onboarded and leading Threat Vulnerability Management activities, with collaboration across various department / teams in Computershare.

The Infrastructure Security Engineer is responsible for the review, initiation, execution, remediation and reporting of technical security processes within Infrastructure Security team's remit.
Operationally, the core of this role involves reviewing, remediating, advising, and actively contributing to addressing patching and configuration vulnerabilities across our global infrastructure environment. This includes, but is not limited to, automation, patching, threat and vulnerability compliance remediation, coordination, and delivery of core remediation items.

What will you bring to the role?
A key responsibility of the role will be the involvement in the review of existing Infrastructure Security managed systems and project onboarding activities, which are being service transitioned into IS. You will need to ensure RBAC aspects are reviewed, well documented and elevated accounts captured and placed into the appropriate security vaults.
To ensure the team's success, you must be an active contributor on our collaboration platform (currently Microsoft Teams), engaging in continual training and knowledge sharing with peers, including other CTS staff. Mentoring team members and others will foster innovative, efficient, and effective delivery of the security remediation services we provide to maintain the company's security.

The Infrastructure Security Engineer is responsible for the review, initiation, execution, remediation and reporting of technical security processes within Infrastructure Security team's remit.
Operationally, the core of this role involves reviewing, remediating, advising, and actively contributing to addressing patching and configuration vulnerabilities across our global infrastructure environment. This includes, but is not limited to, automation, patching, threat and vulnerability compliance remediation, coordination, and delivery of core remediation items.
Some key responsibilities:
- Operational management of security related tasks, such as patching, vulnerability remediation, security standard implementation and validation.
- Infrastructure Security toolset evaluation and securing recommendations (e.g. SCCM, Flexera etc).
- A core responsibility of the role is to ensure the team is provided technical direction on Microsoft patching, policies (across tooling & GPO) and vulnerability remediation & management across the global fleet.
- Zero Day/OOB Guidance / support to the Global Systems Manager on management, from a technical point of view, on policies (tooling & GPO) and vulnerability (weakness) management of the global fleet.
- Software and Hardware lifecycle management (EoL & security flaws).
- Regular collaboration with Security Operations group, and the rest of CTS to deliver on improved security related processes, validation, and implementation, including technical reviews of implemented processes.
What will you bring to the role?

- Significant experience in a technical IT infrastructure role or security role.
- Strong scripting skills with PowerShell.
- Solid administration skills through server troubleshooting, AD & GPO.
- Previous experience working with Azure.
- Strong analytical capabilities with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Perseverance to see a task through to completion.
- Able to learn new technologies and work in a technical environment.
- Able to follow set processes & procedures and highlight potential improvements.
