The team
The Global Technology Management Office (GT MO) in Global Technology support the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) ensuring strategic alignment and operational efficiency within the technology functions, covering areas such as people development, communications, education, and the administration and management of Leadership Team meetings and committees. It optimises organisational structure, addresses skills gaps, enhances employee experience, and focuses on early career and DEI objectives by implementing innovative communication strategies. Additionally, GT MO establishes and tracks OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to align with business goals and drive measurable outcomes, while providing governance reporting for the CTO and handling ad-hoc projects to support them.

The candidate should be adept at addressing ad-hoc questions and requests from regulators, senior management, and audit partners, while also developing new reports and analyses for a diverse range of activities. Maintaining a robust control environment for all associated processes is crucial, alongside collaborating with technology teams and relevant partners to resolve issues and enhance functionality. Finally, the individual should be committed to maintaining, developing, and reviewing documentation on processes, while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Utilise dashboards to analyse and interpret management information (MI) effectively.
• Oversee the collation and aggregation of metrics and data necessary for executive committee (Exco) reporting.
• Manage essential reporting and governance routines for key stakeholders, including external regulators and internal committees.
• Efficiently address ad-hoc questions and requests from regulators, senior management, and audit partners, ensuring accuracy and timely responses.
• Create and develop reports and analyses across various activities to support informed decision-making processes.
• Maintain and enhance a robust control environment for all associated processes, ensuring compliance and operational integrity.
• Collaborate with technology teams and relevant stakeholders to identify issues, enhance functionalities, and drive continuous improvements.
• Maintain, develop, and review process documentation while actively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in risk management, technology management, or reporting within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of data governance practices and frameworks, coupled with data modelling skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of reporting requirements and adherence to governance standards.
• Analytical skills with the capacity to interpret complex data and generate insightful reports that inform decision-making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, allowing for effective presentation of findings and engagement with stakeholders, including senior management and regulators.
• A meticulous approach to ensuring accuracy and consistency in all reporting and documentation processes.
