Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.

You'll oversee compliance strategies, coordinate risk assessments, and provide specialised guidance to senior stakeholders on regulatory changes and best practices. If you have a clear understanding of compliance frameworks and implementing effective compliance strategies, we'd love to hear from you.

What you will be doing-
  • Responsible for providing assurance around our key risk areas and customer journeys
  • Identify critical risk areas at the earliest opportunity to ensure we protect our customers and our business
  • Evidence that all operational activities have been handled in accordance with process with no potential risk/concerns missed
  • Validate fair decision making and risk mitigation, investigate decisions disproportionate to information gathered during operational transaction activities
  • Ensure that any process failures identified during reviews, or any errors or gaps identified are followed up with the appropriate channels
  • Meticulously record assurance activities with internal reporting and audits, demonstrating that we are meeting our regulatory obligations
  • Identify training needs and areas of focus for learning and development, and participate in calibration sessions with Quality Assurance/Training teams
  • Provide root cause analysis and corrective actions where core processes/compliance breaches have occurred and ensure feedback is given in a closed loop process
