Clinical Governance Specialist | Spire St Anthony's | Private Hospital | Competitive salary dependent on experience | Sutton | Full time
Spire St Anthony's Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Governance Specialist to join their dedicated team. The successful applicant will assist the Governance Manager in the areas of clinical quality, patient safety, risk management and compliance activities providing assurance of full compliance with all relevant clinical standards.
Founded in 1904, Spire St Anthony's Hospital delivers care through skilled and dedicated staff working together. With a completed £27m development investment, we provide very high quality healthcare to patients around Sutton, Epsom, Surrey and South London. We have six operating theatres covering a wide range of specialities and procedures.

The successful applicant will assist the Governance Manager in the areas of clinical quality, patient safety, risk management and compliance activities providing assurance of full compliance with all relevant clinical standards.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist in the Hospital Integrated Quality Governance compliance activity within the hospital.
- Maintain compliance with Clini 103 - PSIRF Policy
- Lead Co-ordination and monitoring of patient safety incidents falling within PSIRF.
- Assist in the development of methods and processes to aid the management of clinical risk.
- Develop own knowledge and best practice and assist others to develop.
- Assist the Patient Experience Lead with clinical complaints
- Work in such a way as to help promote a culture that actively improves clinical safety and quality.
- Any other duties appropriate to the post as required by the Governance Manager.
Who we're looking for:
- Registered Healthcare Professional
- Some knowledge in managing clinical governance
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Competence across a range of nursing skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through nursing and midwifery council registration
