This role is about:
The Regulatory Compliance Officer will play a critical role in supporting daily compliance tasks, ensuring the company meets key regulatory objectives as a Payment Institution under CBC oversight. This includes assisting with the finalization and implementation of the Compliance Monitoring Program to maintain 100% regulatory compliance, initiating compliance audits, preparing the annual compliance report, and overseeing the establishment and adherence to essential policies and procedures. Additionally, this role will contribute to future projects, such as licensing initiatives and CSRD implementation, ensuring these are completed effectively and on schedule.

Hiring Process

This includes assisting with the finalization and implementation of the Compliance Monitoring Program to maintain 100% regulatory compliance, initiating compliance audits, preparing the annual compliance report, and overseeing the establishment and adherence to essential policies and procedures. Additionally, this role will contribute to future projects, such as licensing initiatives and CSRD implementation, ensuring these are completed effectively and on schedule.
You will:
- Liaise with all relevant business and supporting areas within the Company.
- Assist in the monitoring of the adequacy and effectiveness of the measures and procedures of the Company.
- Assist in the preparation of trainings and educating the staff of the Company in respect with the compliance function according to the Law.
- Assist with the monitoring of legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the compliance of the Company's ongoing business processes.
- Assist in maintaining and updating internal policies and procedures of the Company, in order to be in line with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in maintaining records of internal approvals, communications with authorities, etc.
- Handle Clients' complaints and legal matters related to Compliance.
- Assist with the preparation of the Compliance monitoring Program.
- Assist with the Regulatory Reporting Requirements.
What we need:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable role within the industry
- Strong experience in the regulated financial industry; experience in a payment/e-money firm in the EU is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge and understanding of applicable regulations and local requirements as set by CBC and experience with executing and designing regulatory frameworks and implementation of new processes across the board.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize workload and manage various tasks simultaneously.
- Someone who takes ownership of their tasks and produces clear results.

- Analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in written communication, and negotiation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
