We have an exciting opportunity to join the Newham service as part of the senior leadership team in the role of Quality and Governance Project Manager for Housing First with CGL.

With this role you will have two areas of responsibility. One will be to manage the service's Housing First and Rough Sleeping Navigator functions. The second will be to ensure a quality and governance framework is implemented across the partnership.

Where: Hybrid Role - Home working and working sites across London borough of Newham

Full TIme Hours: 37.5 per week

Full Time Salary: £34,700.09 - £36,635.38, Pro Rata for part time hours

Allowances: £4,072.06 Inner London Weighting pro rata for part time hours

Responsibilities

About the role:

  • Lead on ensuring Newham IRSS are improving the quality and effectiveness of interventions across the partnership for the benefit of people rough sleeping in the borough
  • Overall ownership of the Housing First and Rough Sleeping Navigator functions of the Newham IRSS including innovation, performance and compliance
  • Line manage a team of Housing First Workers and Rough Sleeping Navigators
  • Support the Service Manager on the development and delivery of the Street Outreach Service
  • Ensure the service is responsive and is needs-led to maximise the chances of
    achieving positive change and sustainable outcomes for clients and the wider
    community
  • Analyse local data through incident reporting, including trends and patterns as well as relevant learning at individual and county project level.
  • Liaise closely with the Street Population Manager/Services Manager to ensure
    outcomes and KPIs
  • Work collaboratively with the senior management team to devise better systems of practice and methods of service delivery

About you:

  • Considerable experience of working with people that experience homelessness, poor mental and physical health, substance misuse and other complex needs
  • Experience of managing a team's development and leading a service operationally.
  • Demonstrable partnership working and relationship management skills
  • Excellent IT skills and proficient in the use of all MS applications e.g. Excel and Word
  • Experience of data collection systems and information technology
  • Knowledge of Housing First and Navigator pathways
