We are looking for a Governance Administration Assistant to join our governance team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Governance and Risk Manager, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the team.

We are a social housing landlord and one of the largest housing providers in the region with over 22,000 social and affordable homes, mainly in the Bradford district. We employ a talented workforce of nearly 1,000 people.

Responsibilities
- Play an instrumental role in the Governance Team by providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support
- Minute taking for governance meetings
- Responsible for scheduling meetings and working across diaries
- Maintain action trackers and policies
- Monitoring the governance inbox and allocating mail accordingly, across the team
- Provide support in organising Board and Committee Meetings and training events
Requirements
- Minute taking experience
- Ability to establish and maintain successful relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Great time management skills and ability to plan own workload and meet deadlines
- Well-developed problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret, summarise and convey complex information.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent Microsoft office skills.
